In February, we kicked off the month with our 4th Self-Care Day, aiming to achieve our largest turnout yet. We were fortunate to welcome back familiar volunteers, alongside new faces, contributing to the success of the event. Among the attendees were 60% returning students and 40% new participants, all eager to experience the transformative power of this day.
The joy on the girl’s faces as they left the event once again reaffirmed the importance of our mission. We are immensely grateful for the businesses and entrepreneurs who generously volunteered their time to support our cause.
Moving forward, our goal is to make this event an annual tradition, or even quarterly. However, we recognize the need to raise a larger amount beforehand to ensure the success of future gatherings.
While securing donations can be challenging, the significance of this event for our community’s youth and young adults cannot be overstated. With your continued support, we are confident that we can continue to provide invaluable experiences that promote self-care and well-being for all.

Thank you to all the volunteers who participated in the 4th YBI Girls Self-Care Day! With the incredible support of over 20 adult and young adult volunteers and 30 student participants, this event marked our biggest turnout yet. We are immensely grateful for your dedication and commitment to empowering young girls through self-care. Stay tuned, as we plan on hosting another similar event for boys in the near future.
